Locate the ad you want to change, click on it and make the appropriate changes.

In order to successfully upload a picture, the picture must be in JPEG, gif, bmp or tiff format.

View stats on line. Keep track of how many times your ad has been viewed.
View and make changes to your current ads. Keep track of ads you have viewed.
Ad Filters allow you to submit a search term for an item you are looking for.
When an item is placed that matches your term you will be notified by email.

Select the most appropriate category or subcategory to place an ad.
Be specific in your title and description.
A clear, concise title and description will produce the best results.
Specify the age and condition of the item.
Add images to your ads.
Don't overprice your item or service. Compare to similar items or services.
Respond quickly when a buyer sends you a request for information.
Using our optional features such as featured ad placement, bolding and better placement allows maximum exposure of your ad. If you sell your item before the ad expires, please remove the ad by logging in to your account.

The account holder will not post any illegal, unlawful or defamatory content or information on or through its BarterBay account. BarterBay may remove, without prior notice any content or information that BarterBay considers to be unlawful, defamatory or otherwise not consistent with the objectives or the spirit of this agreement.

If we receive a report of fraud, we will investigate the user in question.
If fraud is found the user will be removed from Barter Bay.

When a buyer wishes to make an offer, an email will be sent to the address you provided when signing up. If your email should change, please make sure to update your user profile through Manage My account.
How long will my ad stay up?
All ads stay up until sold.

How many visits did my ad get? Back to top.
BarterBay Members can view how many hits their ads get through "my account".
Login to your account, click on “my active ads” and select you ad.
At the bottom of each ad you will notice a number. This is the amount of hits your ad has received. Ad Traffic Times viewed.

I received an offer. Back to top.
It is up to seller to negotiate price, terms, shipping, etc. BarterBay is an advertising service only, bringing buyers and sellers together.

I sold my item. Back to top.
When an item has been sold you can place a Sold sign on it.
Login to your account. Click on "my active ads"
Locate the item you have sold, click on it.
Your ad will show a Sold Sign.
When an item is sold, it is up to seller/buyer to negotiate terms, shipping, etc.
The Sold Ad will be automatically deleted after 30 days.

Click the make an offer button
Fill out the offer form, Include the amount you are willing to pay. Click Submit
Your offer will be sent immediately

Why didn't I get a response for my offer? Back to top.
It is up to the seller to decide if he/she wants to respond to your offer.
